Mother’s Day at Te Mata House

There are many days in a year that deserve celebrating, and one of them is Mother’s Day. This is when we celebrate and honour our mothers, our grandmothers and those who have played that motherly role in our lives.

Arrive at the Te Mata House Cottage, the fireplace roaring, and a delicious grazing platter, chocolates and wine waiting for you.

Wander around the gardens and experience the beauty of autumn at Te Mata House. Enjoy a wellness treatment with Mandy, our in-house masseuse, followed by a delightful dinner at one of the many amazing restaurants in Hawke’s Bay.

The next day, grab one of our Townie bikes and take a short cycle to Craggy Range, or follow the Tukituki River to the Te Awanga coast and enjoy a picnic by the sea.
