Love is in the air
It wasn’t just the spring garden blooming in November, but also three beautiful couples who married at Te Mata House. Last year, we had our first wedding season and welcomed more than 300 guests to the property over three consecutive weekends. It was wonderful to see these weddings come to fruition after covid had interfered with them going ahead last year.
The grounds were completely transformed when the marquee, furniture, flowers, and more were put in place to host these events. And what was so special, was that each wedding was bespoke and completely unique, so there was a new ‘look’ every time!
Our team worked hard to keep the property in a magnificent state for the whole month. We worked alongside some of the best suppliers in the country, from florists and photographers to luxurious loos and caterers, all helping us create these stunning events.
Being able to share this beautiful homestead’s history and grounds for such special events was an absolute pleasure. To share in the joy and fulfilment of our newlyweds and knowing that we’ve been part of their first day of marriage was very special, and we look forward to welcoming more couples to our unique wedding venue in 2023.
