We offer five-star, luxurious, boutique accommodation in The Cottage, host weddings and events, and welcome garden visits.

Retreat to our five-star, luxurious two-bedroom villa with spacious bathrooms and a private cedar hot tub.

Our boutique accommodation is thoughtfully designed to harmonise with the natural landscape, creating a haven of peace with breathtaking views over grapevines and a stunning garden.

Every detail has been carefully considered to ensure an exceptional experience.

The Old Stables and Whiskey room are currently under construction following Cyclone Gabrielle.

CONFERENCES & FUNCTIONS

Te Mata House is available for a limited number of events each year. The stunning grounds and the surrounding chardonnay vines give guests at a gala dinner, an awards night, or a special event, a rare opportunity to enjoy this unique property in Hawke’s Bay. We will work closely with you and our in-house planner to ensure your event proceeds with ease and perfection.

Garden enthusiasts are invited to spend some time exploring our peaceful Paul Bangay-designed grounds. With just a handful of Bangay gardens throughout New Zealand, visitors have a rare opportunity to observe the incredible detail that goes into this renowned Australian landscape designer’s work.

Self-guided garden visits are available between October and March.
